Roseline Mgbodichinma

Roseline Mgbodichinma is a Nigerian writer, lawyer, and the author of A Body in Spice, which was selected by the African Poetry Book Fund as part of the New Generation African Poets Chapbook Boxset. Her work explores the intimate and political intersections of womanhood, the body, desire, emotion, and the natural world. She is an alumna of the Library of Africa and The African Diaspora (LOATAD) West African Writers Residency Programme. Her writing has appeared in Isele Magazine, Poet Lore, Brittle Paper, Agbowo, Native Skin, The Willowherb Review, Duke University Press, North Dakota Literary, JFA Human Rights Journal, Kokonut Head Media, Noisy Streets, Tampered Press, Xylom, A Long House, and elsewhere. She has been shortlisted for the Isele Short Story Prize, was a finalist for the Kikwetu Flash Fiction Contest, won the Audience Favourite Award at the OkadaBooks and Union Bank Campus Writing Challenge, and placed third in the PIN Food Poetry Contest.
